Open Day : To exhibit the Projects done by Engineering Students

BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Avalahalli, Yelahanka, Bengaluru organized Open Day recently to exhibit the Projects done by engineering students under the concept of Project Based Learning(PBL).

More than 50 projects from Computer Science, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML), Electrical Sciences, Civil and Mechanical branches exhibited their work. Experts from Industry were invited to evaluate the projects. Two best projects from each department were awarded the cash prize and will be considered for patenting and further taking it to the product level.

Students were happy that, they could see the projects from various streams in one place. They took insights from interdisciplinary projects across the departments.

Students have demonstrated various projects covering Health care applications, Societal applications, Agricultural applications, Augmented Reality applications, Machine learning to name a few. The projects related to application of cutting edge technologies in the educational sector were also demonstrated. Principal Dr. Mohan Babu GN, Dean Academics Dr. KM Satish Kumar, Dean Planning and Development Dr. Ganesh P, Dean Student Welfare Dr. Ambika R graced the occasion.
